CAC Leasing is the second largest leasing company in the Czech market. Its primary domain is vehicle leasing, but it is also strong in technology and machinery leasing. In 2002, the company’s total assets amounted to EUR 635 million and profit after tax to EUR 8.6 million. The company has 275 employees.
Komerční banka, after becoming part of the Société Générale banking group, decided to divest from the joint venture, jointly established with Bank Austria Creditanstalt, which, on the other hand, was interested in strengthening its leasing business.
A partner of Merger Vision led the team providing M&A advisory to the buyer and plaid a key role in negotiations of the transaction among the joint venture partners.
