Jiří is the founder of Merger Vision. During his M&A advisory career, he has gained experience from originating and executing a number of private cross-border transactions in many sectors, including banking & financial services, food & beverage, automotive, engineering, consumer goods, B2B services, utilities, and biopharma.

Before founding Merger Vision in 2008, he had spent eight years working for the largest CEE-based investment bank CA IB Corporate Finance, a member of UniCredit Group, and two years for Erste Bank group, where he had participated in its acquisition of the largest Czech bank, Česká spořitelna.

Jiří is also a member of the supervisory board of VALOUR, SICAV, and SME-focused investment fund, investing in various industries in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Jiří holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Economics in Prague is a native Czech, fluent in Slovak and English, and speaks German.

He is a keen hobby cross-country skier and triathlete, traveller and music fan.
